Software Engineer, Holobuilder (USA)
During his studies of Computer Science, Marx joined the software start-up bitstars upon establishment. bitstars developed AR and VR technology and later became the R&D facility of the construction reality capturing web platform HoloBuilder Inc.. He joined HoloBuilder full-time as a software engineer after receiving his degree from RWTH Aachen University. Today, he is leading the front-end development team. Marx is specialized in web-technologies and software-architectures which allow him and his team to successfully implement HoloBuilder’s web-applications (Including WebGL/VR) and their integrations with external APIs such as FORGE. Those technologies are running at the core of HoloBuilder and have proven to be pivotal to its success.
Besides software development, Marx is interested in UI/UX design, project management, psychology (especially decision theory), philosophy, and motorsports.
